So I'm a copywriter, and I got a invited on Upwork to rewrite an Amazon listing, like I've done many times before. Usually the client gives me the keywords, but this listing said they needed an "SEO Title" and they need "backend keywords".
I figured no big whoop, take the job first (obviously) then figure out how to do it later. Google and Youtube are your friends! Well, I've been researching for a while now this morning, and everything I find on keyword research is about choosing WHICH product to market based on popular/low competition keywords.
However, this product already exists, and also seems to rank pretty high when I search amazon for the item. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to figure out what keywords to add to the title, and also how to find backend keywords? I know that backend keywords don't need to actually be put in the listing, and I'll just be giving them to the client along with the finished listing.
I've been avoiding learning about keyword research for a while because I really just want to do the writing, but it's becoming more and more apparent that it's unavoidable if I want to be a copywriter. Plus, this seems like a good client and they have a lot of listings to rewrite, so I'd really like to get this right. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you!!
