The agency I work for made a new website for a client. Two months later, there are still 404 pages from the old site kept indexed on Google. How can I make sure they go away asap?
I'm generally confused about using redirects, dealing with dead pages and preventing Google from indexing unwanted pages. If anyone can shed some light or send me a good article, it would be great.
