Hello experts, I've started a blog to document my travels, much like a diary. Of course in hopes that one day it'll join the likes of the big boys travelers out there. However, those guys came a long way, and have plenty of "trips" and thus able to afford to summarize one entire trip to one blog post.
For myself I have only been 3 countries. Having thought about SEO best practices, I have structured my site this way:
Home
- Trips
- - Trip A Day 1
- - Trip A Day 2
- About
- Contact
In order to have more content I wrote specific details for each and every day of my trip.
Now my question would be - is this a good way to SEO a site like mine? I understand that Google algorithms try understanding the niches of websites. In my case, there is really no niche, I don't have a product. After the mythical "sandbox" period, I generally get 3-4 visits to my site daily. Wondering if anyone with similar experiences could share some insights on how to improve and garner traffic?
