Hi everyone! I'm a freelance writer who keeps a personal blog as an informal portfolio and occasional casual article repository. One of my posts consistently draws in 100 or so views per day. A small number, for sure, but it owns its keywords without any effort on my part, and there's no competition.
Question: what should I do to take advantage of this situation and build more traffic, maybe even a trickle of revenue?
I have a few ideas but am hesitant to jump in for fear of ruining this delicate situation. Here's what I'm pondering:
-
Create more content on my blog utilizing similar keywords.
-
Leverage this and turn it into an ebook. The material lends itself well to this format.
-
Set up a dedicated site to the article and its keywords. Maybe?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Researching this particular situation has turned up very little actual information so far.
