Was there an algo update Thursday? (Traffic down 50%)

I'm trying to make some sense of my massive traffic swings. I don't see anyone talking about an update this past week though.

My site took a massive upswing in March, followed by a massive decline in May. Flat through September with a massive upswing again at the end, another small boost with the end of October update, and just now massive devastation.

ALL of my tracked ranked positions fell 3-4 spots at least. My site is 12 years old and was built laboriously only using white-hat methods.

Before March, I never experienced any major swings with updates, but these recent rounds have me pulling out my hair and hitting depression levels of anxiety again.

Help?
