Hey everyone, quick question.
My sites just over two months old. I have a few pages ranking and growth in clicks but I've stumbled across my first big issue.
I have a couple of pages that are ranking for keywords instead of the articles I wrote to target the keywords.
-One is an archives/tags page that is ranking because the tag is similar to the target keyword.
-One is an older article that seems to be ranking for the keyword because I included a "read next" section in the older article with the newer article title.
While I guess its good that these pages are ranking in the first place, it would obviously be much better if the articles themselves were ranking. They have a much better "search intent" fit and I think they'd have a much higher chance of ranking higher. Whereas the pages above are further down the SERP (Page three)
Any ideas about what to do?
My intuition is just to wait it out and hope Google sorts out the problem. Although, it would be good if there's anything else I can do to speed along the process.
Thanks
