SEO - Same Focus phrasing for multiple products?

Hi Folks.

I'm still learning SEO and I'm trying to build out my products.

For example, here I have 6 leather belts. There are 3 different styles with each having a brass/nickel plated brass buckle.

I was thinking I'd make Belt A, Belt B, Belt C and sell 2 variations of each on my website. However, I'm trying to have my SEO be strong with it. Even though my description is different if I focus on 'leather belts for men' will I be penalized?

Would you recommend instead of making 3 separate products with variations to make 1 product with variations?
