How to incorporate onsite user reviews for better ranking

Hey

I run a website that's getting quite popular and I'm seeing a lot of very positive unsolicited reviews around various forums etc about our service. We get around 20,000 people a day use our website.

I've tried a reviews system on our website before, and while we had a few hundred positive reviews in just a couple of days, they were all short one or two word reviews like "GREAT" "HELPED ME OUT" "THANKS" etc.

So seeing we can fix that by setting a minimum word count, and assuming we still get several hundred 4 and 5 star reviews a week, how can I best use this for helping our serps ranks etc?

Or do reviews do little for serps?

I'm really short on ideas. Any advice and ideas would be fantastic

Thanks
