why listicle post is taken performance best than another post type

hi, guy, I ask from my experiment for the last three month

back to April, I try to create simple ten listicle post all of them are just
the simple list contains a lot of affiliate link but past three month
all of them take the first page in multiple keywords and drive a lot of traffic

I thought it will reach million visitors with just only listicle post
