Hello!
So I am starting a financial blog and cant seem to find the answer to a question. I am a writer by trade, and have been published in online newspapers before, usually in the op-ed page. At the termination of my articles there is usually an 'about author' area, where, before, I just put my name and profession. If I start a blog, and they add my website next to my name, will this be beneficial for me and counted as a 'backlink'? Im just wondering if it will be worth the effort to submit articles to a million papers if the mention of my main website domain at the article end wont be recognized by SEO. Thanks, whoever you are, for potentially saving me countless hours of futile work!
