So a few months ago I landed my first SEO client, and even bigger news is I just got them ranking on the first page for plumbers in their area. It was quite the wild ride, and I spent tons of nights in online courses and using whatever resources I could get. But I eventually did it, and even got an interesting deal with the owner. He was very skeptical at first about SEO, but I told him he could pay me on a rising scale so there would be less commitment to begin, but once leads started coming in he had to be ready to pay out. He agreed to start with $300 a month, then $700 once we're on the first page, and $1000 if we can get to number 1. They are in a big city so ranking for big local keywords can equal 20-30 more jobs every month. But I finally did it and I'm so excited to get my SEO company up and running, I've had a lot of problems when I started with customers trying to get out of paying, and it really discouraged me. But I'm glad to say it finally happened so thank you for all the support. I've lurked in this group for a while now
