Working for a very large corporation website with 10,000s of content and product-focused pages, we also have the need for a few dozen high-level navigation pages to help group topics and technology areas together within the breadcrumbs for onsite navigation. While these high-level, non-transactional navigation pages each host links to several SEO-rich, product-focused pages, is there rationale to not use any high-ranking product keywords on the navigation pages as to not steal traffic from the actual transactional pages that they link out to?
