So I run a Web agency and we are branching into SEO. We've been successful in our own rankings, and I learned while ranking that site. I'm confident in our ability to so for other local sized businesses. An issue I've encountered is that due to our established reputation on the Web Design side of things, our incoming leads for SEO are big companies with national ranking goals. I want to start small, and I don't want to take on a large complex project when we're still figuring out our process. I'm aware that SEO can involve some trial and error. I've got the local side down to a tee but know there's a lot more involved in larger campaigns. How do I find businesses with the money to invest in SEO locally? I'm talking "mechanics in TOWN" kind of queries.
