Hiding home-address from GMB

Hi

Where are we nowadays with hiding our home address? How can we show up in maps without .. you know .. being at a place?

And how does this affect NAP consistency? Can I do it like town, county etc. without putting in my house number? Postcode pins me down to a few houses so that's not great.
