The strategy: I took keywords that we weren’t placing in the top 3 at, obviously traffic difference in my subject. If we’re going to spend, might as well link up.
So monthly estimate volume has been steadily going up. Been sitting at 50k from 40k last month. Doubled the front page 1-3 keywords with low hanging fruit. Our last campaign shot our estimates up to 57k for a day, then that disappeared on the metrics. Then today it dropped us back to 40k.
I’ve never seen the metrics do this: I assume it will steady back to 50k with time passing on the metrics. Not seeing any difference to our keyword positions but up! And transaction value per day is up. And organic traffic is up based on google analytics.
So am asking if you all see the same skewed metrics when people start pumping their ppc on keywords to how you all deal with the holiday season?
