Expiring Classified Submissions for do-follow backlinks good for SEO or bad?

Hi guys, so last month we created about 60 do-follow backlinks for Classified Submissions. All the websites had a low spam score and a DA >30.

Unfortunately most of the links have a 30 day lifetime (as mentioned by those websites) and therefore the links will expire in a month's time.

I have a few questions with respect to this situation :-

  1. Should I be spending so much time on classified submissions every month?
  2. Would recreating the same backlinks on the same website before the expiry day help?
  3. After the backlinks are gone, would it drastically affect my rankings? Is there any other alternative you guys suggest?

I would really appreciate the help. Thanks!

I have recently checked the spam score of my website. It is 11%. Should I need to bring it down.

If yes, how will I do that?

Please let me know

Does Google prioritise booking websites over travel blogs?

Is there an evidence that Google is anticipating audience intent when searching for things such as 'holiday villas in Italy' and returning travel agent/booking websites rather than written blogs?

User opinion: Google is way worse since the last two core updates

I'm writing this not from an SEO perspective, although things are not really bright on that side, as well. I'm writing it as a daily user of Google and kinda experienced one.

After the last two major algorithm updates, which rolled out in June and July, and the ones surrounding them, I'm finding a hard time reaching out to the answer I'm looking for.

An example of this is even the search "google major algorithm updates" which returns me a year-old article and a FAQ result below it, both of which say it's the December one.

And it's not just that - I'm getting a ton of listicle articles, without any proper answer to what I'm looking for. Or a bunch of scientific studies, trying to find out what test results mean.

It's like I need to spend two or three times more on Google to find what I need. And some queries I just abandon and that's it.

Alternative to Wordpress to practice SEO?

Hi all, I wanted to start with a personal blog and trying to rank for some long tail queries. I started a personal plan on Wordpress, but have been frustrated with some aspects (such as being unable to customize URL structures without getting into a new plan (only the final slug, e.g. you have dates in the URL for blog posts)). Does anyone have a suggestion for a CMS which has the most important capabilities in the basic plan (or is WP the best option?)?

Thankful for any suggestions - best wishes

Are coupon/cashback sites any useful for e-commerce websites?

Hey everyone

Not a person with SEO knowledge here. I got a Shopify website and use a very close affiliate system that I activated for a few people. I then realized other people register in the affiliate app but never approved them. Today I received an invoice from a coupon site for $650 commission. I then searched for “My brand coupons” and found a bunch of coupons and cashback sites with allegedly 20/30/50% off coupons for my door (which is not true) as I have no such coupons. This one had 2 codes listed that I already have on the website so it’s at least semi legit.

Now the question is, is it worth to have these coupon sites have links to me? I honestly don’t want to pay a random person $650 for commission for the traffic they allegedly sent me. I have a super niche website where customers see the coupon code box at the checkout, search for coupons, find these sites with allegedly 50% off coupons, click on my site link and then request commission.

At the same time if these sites are actually useful, I’m ok with striking a deal with them, but for now they’re not bringing anyone new to me but trying to get commission from my customers that reached checkout already.

Your input is much appreciated. Thanks in advance
