Regional domains/ sub domains

Our ecommerce site has a lot of regional domains/ subdomains that are essentially serving up the exact same content except for pricing. Over time the site has had a lot of pages deindexed. I am wondering if it is likely that this could be to do with perceived duplicate content?

In order to combat this I have added country targetting to the search console for the subdomains, but there were some missing. Only 1 domain is running a sitemap and we mostly care about getting that one indexed, the others showing in other regions would just be a bonus. For the main domain there are 60k pages on the sitemap (5.6k indexed, 26k "Crawled - currently not indexed") and overall it has 61k "Crawled - currently not indexed" and just 12k indexed. The 60k sitemap pages are essentially each product page, all category pages and all brand pages.

Not sure if there is any easy way to test if duplication is giving us a problem?
