these companies keep pitching me on updating all my listings on all the directories online. They put my site through their scan and it shows that basically all of the directories have some kind of error on them. They make it sound like a really big problem (almost dramatic) and then offer to fix it for signing up with them. I’ve been in sales so I understand they are doing their job but I plan on updating all the directories manually even though it’s time consuming. It’s possible right? My impression is that those online directory scans are just focused on acquiring sales and therefore not given the most accurate information.
