I moved an application from a Russian to a US based server and the same day I received more traffic from organic searches. The numbers keep rising daily since then. The top landing pages are still the same and the content or markup hasn't changed.
Admittedly, the server has slightly better specs and the site has better response times, but could the physical location itself have anything to do with it?
I'm sure Google would never admit this, but does anyone have similar experiences?
