A .ru domain would probably be best, but let's say I want a .de domain (Germany), because it's part of the branding. The content of the website would be in Russian, targeted mainly at Russia.
Does somebody know if Google is smart enough to see the intended audience and not discriminate against country level domains?
If not, how gimped would it be against .ru or a gTLD .net for example?
