Help - 200+ baclinks per month, 40-50 per day, | Are they even worth it?

We are a small business looking to hire an SEO company to help with our content marketing. We have reached out to companies locally (US), internationally (Australia, Europe) to get quotes. The price ranges from $250 per month to $1250 per month.

All of these companies tell me they will produce XX backlinks per day or per month. But when you ask specifics they tell you the backlinks are forums, commenting on blog post, social media profiles, likes, etc.

I ask them for specifics and it is like they have splattered themselves across the internet.

I know that the best links are contextual, editorial, outreach, blog post, etc.

So my question is this:

Is there even value in these 200+ backlinks? Or do they work as the keywords we are working to rank for are low-competition and some backlinks are better than no backlinks - or does google just ignore those links?

I am inclined to say no and it is just a waste of time and energy to produce these links and that our efforts/money would be better spent producing content and pursuing a CPC and social media campaign.

But I could be wrong.

Need help with bulk email finder tool

Hey SEOers
Ok, so I have written an in-depth article similar to skyscraping technique, and I have complete backlinks report of similar articles on the web...but I don't know how or what tool to use to obtain the author name and their email addresses.
I do use hunter chrome extension tool, but that's just for the individual link, and I have 500 URLs of which I need name and emails.
Any suggestion for bulk email finder, please?

I don't see an archive of those available online, so if someone here who subscribes to Moz emails would be willing to forward it to me I'd appreciate it!

Page not mobile friendly

Warning in GSC says a page is not mobile friendly. In particualr, it says text is too small to read and clickable elements are too close together.

No other pages on the site have the same issue.

One suspicion is that Google is seeing screenshots in the blog post and thinking that they are actual text and clickable elements.

Could this suspicion be correct? IF so, is there anyway to tell Google: "Hey, this is an image, it's not text, it's not a clickable menu, just treat it like an image".

Or does the user need to blur the text and any hamburger menus in the image etc?

[HELP] Removing old links that lead to 404 from google search results

Basically the title but here's some context.

Managing the SEO part of a site I found out that there are a lot of old links, of the old sitemap probably, that just lead to 404, even though it's been months since the sitemap has changed and has been sent to google, those old links still show up in search results.

What I need to do is to make sure no old links that lead to 404 show up in google search results and that the only links that show are the new ones.

Bonus: this would be a grey hat maneuver but I don't know if it's even possible: is there a way to make it so that if people click on old links they get redirected to home instead of the 404, but leaving the 404 still working the same. Just an idea to exploit the efficiency of the old links, but probably not possible.

Thanks in advance for any help on this matter

Posting content on main site vs subfolder

Hi!

The company I work for has a global site as well as subfolders for each country which they operate in. I understand the idea of having subfolders would be so that we can post country specific content within the subfolder so that it is highly relevant to our clientele in the country.

I have recently created new content that is meant to target our clientele within a specific country (Singapore) and had instructed our IT guy to put it within the Singapore subfolder. However, he has instead posted the content onto our main global site (.com).

Would this affect the content being able to rank on search engines if someone were to search for our content when geographically located in Singapore?

I apologise in advance if I’m not clear on my question. Am fairly new to this and am seeking any feedback from you guys.

Thanks in advance!

Selling a "shelf website"

I have a generic consulting website with over $20,000 of article/link placement on top publications such as Forbes, coindesk and startup nation etc.

This website also has some unique links from past clients including sales force and Bank of America.

Does anyone know how much I should be asking for?

How to interpret this Search Console data?

Hi,

I recently became the developer for a Prestashop-powered webshop. It's quite a large shop with thousands of products and about 3000 monthly visitors, according to Google Analytics.

I'm tasked with improving the sales and since SEO is an importnt aspect of reaching customers, I figured I'd investigate that. Now, I've never done anything related to SEO before other than adding keywords to stuff. I just found out about Google Search Console, so I added the webshop to that. I'm just not quite sure how to interpret it, as I have the following data:

- 9300 valid pages
- 65 000 excluded pages
- 3000 pages with an error
and these errors are mostly "problem with crawling", because the URL links to a product that doesn't exist anymore.

So, is this something I should fix so that there are only valid pages? Or is SEO performance not influenced by these 65k exlcuded pages and 3k erroring pages? The excluded pages do exist but its main reason is that they're pages with a redirect, and this redirect appears to be the result of HTTP redirecting to HTTPS..

What qualities are required in order to be effective in an SEO role, in your opinion?

I think

This is a question requiring a subjective answer, but you might want to think through all of the different skill sets required to be good at this kind of job. An SEO professional must have good research skills, for one thing, as well as strong analytical skills. An ability to spot trends and adapt to change is also important.

what's your opinion..?

Expired domains question

Okay so I have found an expired domain I'm looking at buying to redirect to my website.

It has over 10,000 backlinks, a good domain rating and has PR of 3. The thing is it seems that the backlinks are pointing to subdomains of the domain name. For example: Sub.domain.com

If I did purchase this domain is there any easy way to redirect all traffic from domain and subdomains to my website? Does 301 redirect work on subdomains if you don't have them active?

Thanks for the help

Website redesign and SEO update (last SEO knowledge dates from 2012 or so)

I'm a pro photographer who does my own website design and maintenance (badly for a few busy/difficult years, my blog is at a standstill at the moment), and had decent success in the past when I purchased a search-match domain name, but after that stopped working and I switched to my business match name, I've been mostly getting a fair amount of traction on Google Local. My knowledge of SEO was fantastic around 2012, but that's ancient history in web years.

I'm about to rebuild my site with Divi, and while I'm quite good at keyword blending into my text if I know what my search terms are, I'm not sure what the best practices are for page length and other structural issues other than the obvious like mobile compatibility.

I know I need to get started on things again, and I have a fairly low budget but good comprehension of tech stuff.

From what I understand, given multiple address/phone changes over the years, I'm going to need a NAP Citation Cleanup and a bunch of new citations. I also need some keyword research (SEMRush report from someone on Fiverr?) but beyond that, am I missing anything else important? My strategy of building landing pages for every area of my business into my site is working very well for me so far, so I'm likely going to keep those more or less as is with a bit more keyword integration.

I'm seeing a lot of Fiverr services for things like cleanup and citation work, do any of you use someone reliable who only does manual/white hat? They all say they're familiar with Whitespark/Yext/Loganix which are the ones I was looking into, but I'd rather not pay full price just for myself if someone has access.

Current site: www.admirestudios.com

Max Budget: Approximately $500 USD to start and $50-75 USD monthly thereafter for about 6 months (more after that, likely.) Already have Divi. Work will die down a bit in October/November, so I'm pre-prepping for a huge overhaul.

Any help you can give would be super appreciated.

Use separate Google accounts for competing local businesses in the same area?

I do SEO for my parents-in-laws business, and have gotten it to #1 in my area. After spending so much time and effort learning their business from promoting it, I've decided to open my own business that does the same thing in the same area. Both are Service Area Businesses. My goal is to get both businesses in the area to the #1 and #2 spots. Is there any chance that Google will penalize one or both of the businesses because it sees that I own both websites / businesses competing for the same customers?

I currently have their domain, and run their GMB from my personal account. I'm debating about whether I need to create another separate account to own the domain and manage the GMB of my new business, or if it's safe to continue using my personal account (as that'd be more convenient)

Invisible broken links

Hi all, I ran the plugin Check My Links earlier and noticed that all of my pages have 2 broken links (except my homepage). I can't see the broken links anywhere on my website, so was wondering if anyone knew how I could fix this? I'm guessing it's a template problem.

Large Article - best way for SEO

I am writing a large article for my website on weighted blankets. I am curious if the way I write/post it has any effect on SEO

  1. One large Article (~3000 words) as a post on main page
  2. One large article as it's own page
  3. Broken up into numerous smaller articles (How much should it weight, how to wash and care, etc)
  4. Broken up into smaller articles as individual posts but then also linked to form a single larger post which has some introductory phrases and then a "read more..." link to the sub-article

traffic from bing but not GOOGLE anymore.

So I changed the domain name and redirected the old to domain to the new one [ domain A -> domain B ] [ pages and everything ].

I started getting 10-15 clicks from organic google, but after 2 months I disabled the 301 redirect since domain A wasn't on google anymore. [ stupid move from me ]

Now after a month or so of disabling the 301 redirect my website went downhill and it's getting 0 clicks from google organic and 10-15 clicks from bing/yahoo.

So after seeing the traffic going down, I re-did the 301 redirect and it's been a month and still 0-2 clicks from google to my new website [ domain B] . domain A has been de-indexed this whole time.

my old domain [ domain A ] was 1 year old , and the new domain is now 6 months old. I have 50 posts and a few baclinks.

What do you think? Did I lose traffic because of the 301 or did my site get hit from an algorithm penalty? I'm kinda tired writting 50 posts and getting 0 cli

How can I accurately determine if I'm doing a good job with SEO?

I won a relatively small adult content based website(which I won't link here due to obvious reasons).

As with all adult content sites getting yourself known is quite a hassle. Mostly because there are a bajillion +1 already existing ones.

Mine is pretty niche so seo doesn't really do much, even though I'm quite focused on it. Not to mention I cannot compete with bigger websites no matter how much I try. I'm just one guy, they have whole teams of people.

With that said I'd at least like to know if it's doing SOMETHING.

Just so we're clear I'm really not at expert at seo, quite far from it I dare say.

So long story short. Is there any way to determine if whatever I'm doing actually has some sort of impact?

How do you get articles about game titles with numerals to rank?

I'm in a bit of a conundrum. I have a website where I write about video game strategies, lore/storywriting, and development and I've found a conflict between branding and good SEO practices. On one hand, when referencing titles for things, you want to make sure you use the proper name of the product (for instance: "Total War: Warhammer II").. on the other, when looking at SEO data, keywords using "warhammer 2" vastly outperform "warhammer ii." For instance, when I use "warhammer ii factions" with the KeywordsEverywhere extension, there's no search volume; "warhammer 2 factions" gets at least 1,000 views/month.

Again, I don't know how to reconcile referencing the intended, proper title of the game against what people are actually searching for, though even when searching "warhammer 2 factions" these are the entries that come up on the first page:

Factions - Total War: WARHAMMER Wiki
Total War: Warhammer II - Total War: WARHAMMER Wiki
Factions - Total War: WARHAMMER II - Royal Military Academy
Race | Total War: Warhammer 2 Viki | FANDOM...
Total War: Warhammer II - Wikipedia
Rank all the factions you've played from fav to worse. - TotalWar.com
How would you rank the Warhammer 2 factions? : totalwarhammer (subreddit)

I use Yoast SEO on WP and I know it'll yell at me if I'm not consistent but even still, that list above contains only two references to Warhammer 2 in the title, the rest with numerals if they appear. I apologize for rambling but as you can tell, I'm confused and curious how I can get the most out of SEO for this article (the working title right now is "Top Total War: WARHAMMER II Factions I Hate Fighting Against").

Newb question; Does clicking on a link in the SRP add to their rankings?

For example, if I do a search for tiddlywinks and then click on t-winks.com will that improve t-winks.com's rankings and if so does this create a snowball effect?

I can't beat my competitor's blackhat tactics with whitehat tactics

My competitor has bought 9 expired domain names which all have many backlinks pointed at them. He has then setup a page on each domain name which says "Sorry! This website doesn't exist now. Please visit (the keywords he is targeting with a link to his website) instead". None of these domain names are related to our niche whatsoever. He has got a Canadian news website domain name, a south African radio station domain, and many other random domain names which have a lot of backlinks pointed to them, but no relevance.

So what can I do? I can never get these type of links using guest posts or whitehat tactics. The links are also promoting specific pages on his website that he ranks #1 for. I can't get quality links for obscure pages like this. Is my only solution here to start doing the same? Start squatting on random domains like he does? Seems like Google rewards this behavior.

I reported him to Google a couple of times and sent Google a list of all his spam sites. Interestingly Google has banned him from AdWords recently (he was always running ad campaigns too). Google have banned him from AdWords because his website "enabling dishonest behavior". Funny. I wonder if that was because I reported him. But he is still ranking #1 for all of the search terms. (I know this since he was whining about it on a public forum.)

I am not posting from a big SEO company here. I run a small business that I use to feed my family. I can't afford to hire an SEO specialist. Is there any way for me to compete with craphat tactics by the book? Or do I need to lower myself to buying random domain names and pointing them at my site? I thought Google's "AI" was smart enough to detect crap like this.

Avoiding duplicate content and negative SEO

So, I have a Wordpress blog (let's say it's myblog.com) where I have published about 100 posts already, written in Greek.

I'm thinking of moving all the content to the corresponding myblog.gr domain name where I will continue to publish posts in Greek.

Then, start the myblog.com from scratch to publish posts in English.

Both blogs, myblog.com and myblog.gr, will have the same content but in a different language (English and Greek respectively).

I don't want to have a blog under one domain with multilingual support. Previous experience was terrible and a nightmare to make it stable enough.

Will this approach work? I'm wondering if Google sees this as duplicate content (even if it's in another language) and if this negatively affects overall SEO.

Number of Blogs by timeframe

Hello All,

I am starting with my blog website soon. But I am facing issues with a number of blog posts.

I took almost 2 weeks to get my first post formatted, adjusted and graphics etc. Now I dont think I can get my many posts per week or may be even one.

Have you also faced something similar ever?

What is the suggestion for launching my web site. Make it live as soon as I have my first blog ready and keep updating new blogs or old ones as and when I have the content or wait until I have more content?

I was thinking of launching the website with first blog and keep working on other ones. But dont promote it. I start promotong once I have like 5-6 blogs already available. What do you guys think?

Hoping someone might be able to help me, as I'm currently unable to access the disavow tool at the moment. I get to the page and the drop down for properties is blank and doesn't work. If I click disavow it takes me to a login screen, where I login and it starts the process again. I read it's an issue with sites verified with the new GSC... Traffic drop post September Core Algorithm Update

Since Google rolled out September Core Algorithm Update, we have witnessed a massive drop in traffic from Google Discover. In the same regard, I had a couple of questions

  1. We are a news website, and hence each article is tagged and several topic pages are created. To give you an estimate, each article has more than 10 topics. The schema of these pages is based on 'CollectionPage'. However, lot many pages have been associated with only one article. This is why, total words on the topic page are in the range of 60. Will Google consider these as thin content? If yes, will it penalise us?
  2. Is there any way to understand what has been the focus of this update? Has it been on thin content?
  3. Finally, our total pages are in the range of few hundred thousands but the indexed AMP report shows only 30,000 have been indexed. Why would that be?

It would be great if you can help me in this regard.

Sharing video content: Link to Self hosted video vs Uploading video to native platforms

👋 Hey marketers. Curious to hear what you think about the decision of whether to self host your video on your domain and link to that page through social VS copying the content to social platforms like YT, FB LinkedIn (don't know the abbreviation for that one)...

One of the beauties of self hosting is it attributes backlinks, social shares etc directly to your domain, v valuable. Butttt if more people would watch if it just played inline / natively... what's the increased value of that? What are some opinions?

Follow up Q: Open Graph have OG:Video FB Docs mention:

Use a secure URL for both the og:video:url and og:video:secure_url tags to make your video eligible to play in-line in News Feed.

But also mentioned it's not guaranteed to play inline based on a "number of factors". Has anyone experience with this?

Is Linking To Your Own Sites Bad On Its Own?

My understanding of Google's rankings is that if they pick up a ton of link exchanging and so on, or worst of all a "personal blog network" where the intent is to bolster one of your sites, expect to be penalized in rankings. Right?

But here's the thing.. What if it's done organically from another one of your sites within your niche, and not in an abusive way?

For example, I have one main site right now and am in the process of building several others over the next several weeks/months. This site is one specific thing in the niche, another website is a wiki-type general knowledge base, and the third is more of a directory of sorts, for sites within the niche.

Now, suppose I really start building a half-decent amount of authority on these other sites. Should I really be expected to be penalized if, for example, I link to my own two other websites from the directory site? I'm not doing it with the intent of bolstering rankings, though I know it could.

Is this an issue? Has Google, Matt Cutts, whoever else, spoken on this type of thing, rather than explicitly artificial/fraudulent link-building?

Google Analytics Is Saying Website Traffic Dropped

Decided to check my google analytics as I tend to do 1-2 times per week. Just saw that yesterday my website traffic dropped from 650 three days ago, to 450 two days ago, and to 30 page views yesterday.

I searched a few terms that I know I'm ranking for, and the rankings where still there. I checked jetpack (the wordpress plug in) and the traffic looks normal. It says I got 480 two days ago, and 550 yesterday.

Pages on stage server getting indexed that have no index tags, help?

I’m helping a friend try to figure out this issue. Pages on their stage server, which looks to be set up as a sub domain of their main website, are getting indexed by google. I suggested adding no index tags which they did last week and they are still showing up on google. This isn’t really my area of expertise- should adding the no index tag work, and we just need to give it more time? I tried to check the status of these pages in their search console but console didn’t even recognize the stage server URLs I tested at all, maybe because it’s a sub domain? Problem When I Use Adsense With Pagination

The average article size of the blogs my website is 1300.

Now what I have did is strategically divided a single blog into two pages.

Beginner Question - Need some help

Hello guys,

Basically the last time I checked SEO articles was many years ago, back when I had my blog/portfolio website in one domain. Fast forward years later I decided to delete everything in my old domain and keep it fresh. I used Bootstrap and made it to a 1-page style site with little content and mostly pictures since I just showcased my logo designs and client websites.

  1. Do you think I should add more text content and use different pages? Rather than using just 1 scrolling page.
  2. Does adding a location help getting my website discovered? Like personally I don't want to rank locally but I do want to rank well in some cities in the U.S
  3. Or what do you think I should do so I can get my site to rank better and get more clients?

What should I be getting for $1500 Per Month?

So I’ve hired an SEO company for approximately a year whilst their work is okayish.

I feel I’m not getting enough for the money I’m spending each month.

We went from 800-2000 visitors per month according to ahrefs (which I’m happy with in a year).

We’ve been affected by the broad core update where it seems like we’ve lost 50% of traffic over night.

Which means we’ve pretty much back where we started.

I’ve looked over his work in AHREFS for the last 12 months.

  • Little to no link building. The link building they have done via outreach is cheap with exact match anchor text (reaching out to sites that exist solely to sell guestposts on their property).

  • On-page optimisation and site load speed decrease (which is good but I don’t think it’s worthy of me spending $1500 per month for).

Am I unreasonable to think that they should also be doing the following:

A/b testing.

Optimising our site for conversions and lowering bounce rates.

Looking for specific long tail keywords to specifically target (instead of limiting the keywords we track and target).

Creating content that would be valuable to our readership.

Im paid in advance until December, I want to know if I should reconsider this specific vendor.

Many thanks for any information, it’s much appreciated.

Why You Need to Use asin24.com for Amazon

Without any equivocation, Amazon is considered the largest online shopping marketplace in the world. Statistics have revealed that nearly 200 million people are visiting this online shopping platform on a daily basis.

Amazon is an online marketplace that has more than 100 million Amazon Prime members and has a net worth of US$170 billion in sales in 2019. And yes, this is the more reasons why this ecommerce giant has remained a gold mine for both Amazon affiliates and FBA sellers.

At some point, you could have the thought of successfully capturing the interest and attention of a small percentage of Amazon visitors. Could that be possible? Yeah, it is a challenging task, but possible. Apart from being highly competitive, Amazon remains a great place for sellers. Firstly, a seller begins with sales of goods on the platform and then proceed to drive traffic and investing in some forms of promotion.

When it comes to selling on Amazon, the best approach is to increase your chances of getting sales by ensuring that your products are easily searched and found on Amazon. However, this is where the use of relevant keywords comes in.

Apart from the use of relevant keywords, you also need to optimize your Amazon listing excellently to place your products in the fingertips of prospective customers, buyers, and clients. If you are able to optimize your Amazon products successfully, more shoppers will be able to find and locate you on the Amazon page through Search Engine. This remains a surefire way to increase your chances of getting sales and even more sales.

Optimizing your Amazon products listing is a daunting and challenging task, but it is easy with the use of asin24.com for Amazon. With asin24.com for Amazon, all you need do is to enter a keyword related to the product you are selling, and you’ll see a wide range of Amazon frequent search terms. This reveals what buyers are searching for and how often they search using these keywords.

Problem With Business Not Showing With GMB & Organic

Hi all

(This is a different website to the other post ive made)

I've got a website, been live since April. No link building has been done, no content has been added post launch.

The brand name for the business and website is also a term used in what appears to be the medical sector/science/research sector (this business does not operate in those sectors)

Brand name search, home page is showing 11th. I have set up a GMB page, and the knowledge panel does not show.

When i search brand name + town, the knowledge panel shows, but the "press" page url ranks number 1, not the homepage.

When i search brand name + area (the county where the town is located - this is in the UK) we do not appear in organic, or in the knowledge panel. However the companies linkedin profile appears.

The project hasn't allowed for any marketing to be done post the website going live.

Client has now asked me about the above.

The poor ranking I believe is due to their business name (which is the domain name) being a term used in another market, and as the website has had 0 link building, thats why.

The GMB, I don't know why the press page would be appearing, and I dont know why the knowledge panel is only showing up for one of the terms i search. I think its because of low authority, again due to know link building, and local citation building.

Any further input on the reasoning for this would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance all.

Hiring a digital marketing company (SEO + PPC) - Are these rates reasonable?

Are these rates acceptable/industry standards?

  • 15% of budget spent as management fee for PPC (ad budget >5k$ month, potentially at 20k/month during busy months)
  • 200$ per keyword reaching 1st page of Google with a minimum of 200 keywords of my choosing (~5k queries/month/keyword average). Payable after reaching the goal of each keyword. After that it's 24$ (12%)/keyword/month to maintain the position

Some background, my company is in Consumer Loans, based in Vietnam so CPC is generally about 1/3 to 1/5 compare to say US for example (but value per click also lower). (So 5k$ is a lot more than it seems)

Are these rates reasonable? Should I negotiate for - say top 5 instead of top 10, a lower percentage ( less than 15%) - and by how much? 200$ per keyword reaching top 10 aka first page of Google is OK?

What other questions should I ask before hiring? The company in question is ~20 years in business and known to be among top 3 of digital marketing in VN and came recommended through friends so it's safe to say their methods should be white-hat only which is what I want

Ranking for the same word but in different languages/Spinning content using translators?

I know you're supposed to use canonical linking to show Google you have duplicate content on different pages and which is the original.

My questions are:

  1. Suppose I have original content written in English. I have it translated to German and put on abcd.de and translated dutch on xzy.nl (different URLS)

Will google know this is duplicate content despite two different translators translating original content into different langs?

  1. If i were just to use canonical linking and say hey "the german version is on this site and the dutch is on this site" will I be able to rank just as well for their respective terms in their respective langs?

Redesigning our homepage

Lucky me i found the error and fixed it and fetched again the homepage. After some seconds homepage seems to be indexed again.. but i will recover my serp positions? It was 2nd on google on a medium-high competition keywords..

Are Travel websites YMYL?

What do you guys think, are travel websites treated as YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) webistes?

Specifically, how critical do you think E-A-T principles are strong signal to Google about travel?

For example, do you think an author bio under each article is highly recommend in order to rank well?

How do you find out if there is enough search traffic for a Side Hustle?

I am into "alternative health" and want to purchase a machine that has been approved by the FDA for some different health treatments. The machine is expensive $6,000. I was wondering if I could have a website made and offer to rent the machine out on a weekly basis when I'm not using it. How would I determine if there would be a rental market for this item. The technology is called "PEMF" Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy.

To all the SEO guys who do keyword research and write an optimized post and submit it to Google webmaster tools, have you ever got top 3 for your primary keyword when it indexed?

Without building any links to it?

I came close I got about rank 7 after submitting it to google web master tools.

Is this based on your sites DA in that it will be based on how high up it ranks?

Suggestion for a SEO friendly way to do Jquery hidden text

Unfortunately for a good design's sake, hiding text only to have some onclick or onmouseover function deranks all of the useful keywords that might be hidden in that text.

As far as I'm concerned, disabling all javascript in the page gives you a good idea of what SEO's see when scanning the page. Parting from this idea, wouldn't it be possible to make text disappear with javascript after the document has completely loaded, while keeping the keywords as relevant?

I'm thinking along these lines:

$(document).ready(function() { $('.hiddentext').hide(); });

Help with SEO for “combination page”

Hey guys and girls!

I’m reviewing my company’s product pages at our site. Let us suppose that we have 3 product pages.

  • Product page 1
  • Product page 2
  • Product page 3

All pages are optimized for SEO with 1 main keyword and 3/4 supporting keywords. All good.

Now, for a number of reasons we also have a combination page where you can buy all three products as a discounted package.

What is best practice to optimize the combination page? Use all main and supporting keywords? Use main but find new supporting keywords?

I do want to drive organic traffic to all the pages, but I don’t want them to cannibalize on each other.

One more aspect here is google ads, we need good QS on the combination page to be able to run ads.

Thanks 🙏

What to ask when looking for a good SEO company?

My friend's company is doing >1MM/year and currently is looking for a good SEO company, I'm doing some scouting for him. I have a list of some long-standing/decent sizing companies that offer SEO services. What I am not sure though, is how to ask and how to judge the answers.

I figure that I'd first ask for their portfolios and see the results of keywords that they are doing/did and the difficulty of those keywords. Possibly set up a consultation session to talk overall strategy/planning.

Other than that, which other indications should I look for in a capable SEO company? I'm not looking for cheap, I'm looking for quality.

P/S: In case someone wants to introduce themselves for the position, I'm only looking for Vietnamese SEO companies and you must be one of the bigger ones.

Is there an SEO Tool that allows you to see site mentions excluding the site?

For example, I want to search for “redtruck.com” but I only want results not from redtruck.com.

Would such a tool also work for searching “Red Truck” or “Red Trucks” while excluding red truck.com? Thanks
