Hey guys, back story, in 2016 I started a niche site and made few posts on, got accepted in Amazon's affiliate and started to promote the website on social media, and I soon realized I will make more money and faster if I post my links on social media groups directly to amazon instead of to my website and then to amazon.
I kept doing that for 3 years, during which I had several issues with several groups and admins banned me from posting links for a short time and then forced me to comment and post in certain ways just to allow me to continue linking to amazon. That made my income to be cut by almost half for the past year, and now I am considering to go back and focus on my website, I already paid couple of 100s to write new articles on the website, issue is, the keywords I was targeting/hoping to rank for were much easier than now.
I am not sure if I can still rank, and it will need a lot more time and money to be able to do so, and I am not sure if the new update will affect me because back in 2016 I tried a couple of BPN link building schemes, so should I keep trying at the website, or continue relaying on the social media I don't control ? or start a new website ?
TLDR: 3 years old website, used PBN on , did't put articles, didn't rank, now keywords much harder to rank, should I start new or try to rebuild ?
