Bing webmaster Crawl Information shows thousands of 404 errors for pages that don't exist, never existed, and are not part of the sitemap. Based on the uniqueness of some of the URLs, I have been able to track the files to completely random sites around the world. Bing Webmaster team even sent me an alert about the large increase in errors.
I reported the incorrect crawling to Bing Webmaster Support. As requested, I included some of incorrect URLs. I received a response to provide logs. As I was collecting the logs, the associate closed the report for lack of response and instructed me to open a new issue when I had the logs. I have opened two new issues, but received no response follow-up response from Bing support team.
How can one report and resolve Bing crawl errors?
