The implication of creating tons of suburb pages for a trades company.

I see competitors in my city who have literally 200 pages. And they're titlesd (Suburb name) plumbers. So 200 pages for each suburb as well as the cities main keywords.

Now these pages are all exactly the same except the page title, some of the headings are different. They have the exact content on all 200 pages. Except the suburb or areas name is replaced.

To me this looks dodgey although so many people do it. Where they'll have a page covering every suburb in that city.

Can I use other websites infographics if I link to them and cite them as the source?

Facebook Business Page and Google Ranking

Hello all,

Straight forward question.

I own an insurance business and have a Facebook business page that I manage. I want to personally get off Facebook all together and then delete that page as well.

I currently rank well on Google, but will this hurt my SEO if I proceed?

Thank you!!

How can we make Google address this?

This an issue that everyone here knows about and I don't understand why Google doesn't address it. What I'm talking about is the situation when big brands rank very high even if they don't have content at all. For a lot of keywords one would find a Facebook page, or Pinterest, or Twitter and so on. And it is very strange sometimes because a Facebook page (like one for home and one for about the page) or Pinterest (like different language based subdomains) can rank not only once but twice and take the best of the first 10 positions. In case of Pinterest it's even against Google's duplicate content rules. And Google says they care about the user experience, but they give them here crappy search results. So what can we do about this? Should we address this in the Google forums? Make big industry blogs write about this? Because as I said they give to the users bad results and take from us very valuable positions.

www and non-www versions indexed - duplicate content issues. Advice?

Hi all! I have commonly seen this issue and was wondering if anyone had advice.

Problem: Both the www and non-www (primary) versions of a website are indexed by Google, Bing, etc. This results in duplicate content and the site is "hidden" from search results.

Fixes:

  1. 301 redirect added to .htaccess file pointing to the non-www site.
  2. Non-www canonicals designated for each page/post
  3. Ensure internal links all point to non-www site
  4. Recrawl request via Search Console

Any other recommendations? Bing seems to totally penalize/remove duplicate pages and won't show them again despite recrawl attempts. Google is better, but the pages seem to have taken a massive hit in rankings. Thanks!

Keyword Surfer & Google Adwords showing very different results

In doing research for keywords, I've notice a pretty large discrepency between Keyword Surfer and Google Adwords Keyword Ideas tool. For example, Google says there are between 100 and 1k average searches per month, while keyword surfer says there are 0. I've tried this with a handful of keywords and keep seeing the same results. Any advice/thoughts? I would think that Google is more accurate.

An Internet cookie on profile & apps basis to track keeping browsers a side for a moment

No doubt cookies serves a great purpose of tracking and retargeting users on the Internet. Cookies are saved on browser visiting a site that's also understandable but what about cookies on profile to profile basis, like if you are logged in to your youtube with certain google account you get someother recommendation and other google accout some other. How does this happen?

It's understandable that for Google 2 different Google account means two different users but how does it comes to play as there is no browser also to he used on apps as well?

Http vs Https Site Map in Search Console. Problem?

So a client of mine unknowingly had their site registered in search console, with a site map, under the HTTP URL prefix. After the new site launch, I created a new search console account for them under the prefix https and uploaded a new site map to that account.

Our old links perform very well on Google but now we have new links. Should we continue using the old links or should we switch?

We have had our website for 18 months and we promote discounts at our partners' locations. For some partners we perform incredibly well on Google (on average, we are on the top 5 links). Our path was /partner-barcelona/partner-name

We created a new post type with new links as /discount/partner-name because we thought the word discount would help us even more in the URL but the old links are still active.

We can't delete the old page because it would lead to so many 404 Page Not Found pages.

My question is, since most of the old links work very well, should we continue with the new link or should we continue using the old link?

Will Google penalize us if we redirect all the old links to new ones?

Is there any way we can tell the same page now has a new URL?

Sorry I'm asking a lot of questions. I'm just curious to know which would be better in terms of SEO performance. Thanks

Partnering to find more clients

Hi everyone,

Is collaboration between SEO experts and web designers a thing? A collaboration where both parties help each other find clients by referring each other to their clients. For example if the Web designer has a client that needs SEO as additional service, the designer refers his SEO partner to the client. They could even work out a percentage to pay each other when they successfully refer someone.

This way both parties help each other find clients and it also helps the client. Also integration is easier this way.

How is this idea not mainstream already or is it just me that's not aware of it?

I'm a web designer myself and I've been thinking about this for a while but haven't seen much evidence for it's existence.

Script to find any pages with no-index tags on them?

I'm trying to do some inventory on our website of any pages that may have a noindex tag on them. I got an alert from Google Search console indicating they found pages on the site, but it looks like they only listed one example, which was on a page where it was appropriate. Google needs to understand small sites can produce good content too

Google relies too much on the domain score. There are contents much comprehensive than the ones produced by the bigger sites which show up way higher in the search results.

One time a Google engineer asked, "you may create good content but do people read it?"

But if Google only let them be read...

This kind of approach is like saying the food was great because it has made by a famous cook when it wasn't actually that good.

Ranked Keywords on Youtube

Can someone explain to me why these never show up when I'm in the youtube edit keyword box.. like sometimes ill type keywords in and they won't show as even being ranked. Ill press save. then just go look at my video and notice some will be ranked? Then i'll go back to the editor and they show as ranked?

Or vice versa. They will show as ranked in the keyword editer, then i click save and look at my video and notice its not ranked anymore?

Is this a glitch, or just how SEO works?

Migrated a blog from Blogspot and don't know what to do with landing page

I am fairly new to SEO and trying to figure out the best way forward. I recently migrated my Blogspot page (a niche content site) and used the equivalent of 301 forwarding. However, Blogspot's home page was just a page full of posts. I put in minimal effort to use the new landing page to provide links and brief summaries to direct visitors. However, because the landing page has a higher PA, it sometimes outranks the more important pages for keywords.

Any ideas for how I can capitalize on a higher PA landing page? I'm considering giving the page unique content, but I also hope that I wouldn't lose significantly on those keywords that are currently driving traffic. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I build wix sites for small business clients for $2,600 with keywords installed and content.

Don't ever believe the hype, that just because something calls itself a free website builder or has great TV Commercials, that it's only worth $300 a website, haha well it sure is not. I build small business clients all around America , WIX websites for $2,600, websites that work. Your just so much better off paying for a website and getting 15 days of work done instead of someone working on it for one day. Just imagine 15 days of someone's work. That's a lot of love.

My Wordpress sites are $14,000

Website clean ups and enhancements $4,200.

Local SEO is targeting other cities with same names

I have a legacy client that we still do monthly blog posts + a few social media posts a month. The client cleaning service with a 10 mi service radius. Once a year, the client becomes frustrated that calls are coming in from out of state.

  1. GMB lists services areas within this 10 mi radius.
  2. Every page mentions the state (browser title, content, & footer)
  3. They're on Yelp and several local directories
  4. Google is the top traffic source for states outside our state

Within the 10 mi radius - 2 cities have the same name as 1 other city in US, 1 city has the same name as 13 other cities, 1 city with same name as 6 cities, 1 city with 23 other cities. We're targeting 3 other cities/towns without cities with the same name.

We've recommended updating the way they answer the phone with what's your zip code, but she doesn't want to do that.

Any ideas on how to update her local SEO to increase the calls locally vs. nationally?

Paid Backlinks

In trying to refine my understanding of SEO and how to improve my site, I've been burning through my competitor's backlinks looking for ideas or resources I might also use. I came across their listing (which I tried to link, but it automatically removed my post) which is essentially a long list of domains with a "Add your URL here for $5" button). I came across the tool set recently. It seems to be a combination of tools like Ahrefs and Moz + Screaming Frog + Yoast. (BTW, I'm talking about the full tool set, not the WordPress plugin.)

Sudden drop for all non-branded keywords only?

My client is a big company, and traffic is almost a million a month. However on June 9, all non-brand keywords lost their rankings significantly (like from page 1 to Page 5) while branded terms are still holding top positions. This caused them to lose over 30% of organic traffic.

Checked GSC and didn't see any penalty or manual actions. They had site changes but didn't see anything that would cause SEO issues. What baffles me is that it all happened in just one day, and only non-brand terms are affected.

If it's due to lost backlinks, I would think that the change would be gradual, not happening all on one day.

Anyone have a theory?

What Type/Types Should I Use for Trading Card Game Cards?

So, I run a website which has a card database for the old Star Wars Trading Card Game by Wizards of the Coast. [swtcg.com] There are multiple sets/expansions and each of those has multiple cards.

If you google other trading card games like Magic the Gathering or Pokemon TCG, you SOMETIMES will get rich, carousel-style results for individual cards, and if you click one of the cards, you get the rich, graph sidebar result. It seems like google is aware that these are [Cards] from [Sets] from a [Trading Card Game].

I have tried to search for sites that are using structured data to identify these types, but have only found one or two, and they are just using Product markup.

Does anyone have any advice for what types I should use? I would really like to get to the point where you could search for a card and could get a rich result on the side with details about each card.

I've tried Product, but only some of them are cards that are actually sold. Others are digital only and free. I've considered Article and Creative Work, but am just really stumped as to what the best options would be for me. Is there such a thing as custom types that aren't insanely difficult to implement?

Also, if anyone knows of any good books or websites for learning more about structured data, I would be very grateful for any info. :)

Can redesigning a website affect a company's Google My Business listing?

About to redesign a website for a company who ranks highly on Google My Business and get a lot of customers that way.

I plan on keeping the content and pages of the original site and maybe adding some content with more keywords they're not ranking for and optimising the ones they are ranking for a bit better.

I'm keeping the same pages but I also plan on changing their .html page addresses to the same, minus the .html (moving from html to WordPress) at the end and set up redirects. How much of a negative affect could I expect to see to rankings, especially on their Google My Business?

Youtube SEO - Is it better to use all of your tags or only some of your tags?

Hi guys,

I've heard Brian from Backlinko (aka Brian Dean on YouTube) say not to only use around 5-7 tags on your YouTube videos, as the more tags you use, the more you dilute the importance of each one and the less powerful each one becomes.

However, I've seen lots of people literally use all 500 out of 500 characters for their tags.

Personally, I've been following Brian's advice but after thinking about it, I think that diluting the importance of each tag is only a minor thing because comments and watch time and views significantly effect where a YouTube video ranks.

If I use only 5 tags then I might missout ranking for other keywords which I could qualify for.

However, if I use a bunch of keywords, sure the importance of each tag is diluted, but I think that appearing for other keywords and search terms outweighs that factor.

After all, views, watch time, and comments play a significant role in where my video ranks, so I think 'diluting the importance of each tag' is such a minor thing and that it's better to just use all my tags and try to appear for as many search terms as possible.

What do you guys think is better and what is your reasoning behind it?

Changing URL on young website

Hi there,

I am wanting to change my website domain to another one as I am slightly rebranding. I have only had my website live for a month or 2 and isn't fully completed. I only get 40 page views a month and have around 20 posts. I was wondering if I should still do a 301 redirect when changing domains or I should be fine as my website does not get any traffic yet. I am just worried about my hindering my posts SEO with the new url. Is it okay because I am hardly ranking at the moment or is it good practice to still use 301 redirects?

Why is my site not at the top with no other keyword competition.

I have a website I helped build with square space, and the title is New Providence Our Community For All. I have submitted the page to be indexed and google still posts an old meta description that I changed in square space for the home page, and my page is not on first two pages. I have h1 tags with my site title. My site title as the title for the search (blue google text title of site in search engine) and multiple pages of What I thought were relevant content. Does ghost blogging hurt E-A-T ?

Hey guys

I’m really confused. Would you help me out please? Some SEO experts say that when you’re starting out a blog, make sure you have only one author. This is the way you can make sure you won’t hurt Google’s E-A-T.

If this is correct, then how can I hire authors for my blog? Even if I hire ghost bloggers, and publish 5 articles a day, won’t google think how is that possible for one human being to publish 5 articles a day by himself? So I’m guessing google would notice that I have hired ghost bloggers. Is there a way to get around this? And how to other authoritative blogs publish lots of articles everyday without hurting their E-A-T ?

Thank you so much for your help

How do you scout for smaller blog and influencers?

I'm currently exploring site editing blogs and most influential personas.

First pages are filled with similar, big blogs where promo posts are most probably expensive and since my budget is limited, I'd also like to scout for some smaller.

Are you using for some kind of tools for that or just descent into the next pages of google search? Which tools would you recommend?

How Long Would You Spend Researching Each Keyword For A Blog?

How much time would you say is appropriate or overkill to look for keywords to write blog posts around. I have a new blog and I'm trying to figure out if I'm overkilling the keyword research.

When I look 1 hr and might find only 1 keyword that has a few hundred searches with competitors whose DA/PA is under 25 ish and serp where the blog posts on the first page of serp don't all answer the question I have searched.

Most seo tools will show a low difficulty score for a keyword but when you look at the serp breakdown most sites have high DA/PA and answer the question that I have searched.

I need some help. Accidentally wrote an article on a topic that I have published already.

So, I just finished writing an extensive, 2.5k word article on a topic that I have covered already. The original article was written a year ago and I simply forgot about it. Happens, I guess.

In terms of SEO optimization, what would be the best path to take? Should I just upload the new article, or update the original? My site receives massive traffic boosts when I maintain a publishing frequency and I haven't uploaded in a while. But I also don't want to have two articles on the same topic, especially when one is better and both slightly contradict each other a few times as I took different stances in each.

I really don't understand why some websites with copyrighted content are showing on top of google search results ?

Hi guys,

I'm not a competitor, I'm a simple blogger who spent some time reading about the To do and Not to do to get your website ranked on top of search results

And obviously using copyrighted content in an illegal way isn't in the To do list, and yet, somehow I find websites (ex. Free Movies websites - streaming and download, where u can find the latest movies of 2020 five hours after they were released officially somewhere) showing on top of the search.

What the hell is going on ? Why aren't rules applied to everyone ? Is this a jungle or am I missing something ???

I completely changed the topic and direction of my website. Am I likely to ever rank well?

I started a website around 12 months ago. It was dedicated to my freelance writing services and it had a blog section. Initially, I was blogging about random topics that didn't have much to do with what I write about in my normal daily work.

I realized after a while that writing about random shit was a mistake in terms of trying to market myself as a writer in a specific niche (infosec). I started a separate personal blog for my random posts and redirected all article links from my writing website to that new blog.

I then began writing niche-focused topics around information security. However, looking in Google Search Console, I am getting absolutely zero traction with these posts: no clicks, no traffic. I have posted 8 articles in total within the last 40 days; all of them 800 words+ and following SEO best practices. All of them targeting relatively low competition keywords.

Doing a "site" command in Google for my website, I see that only one of my articles on infosec is currently indexed. The rest of my indexed pages are old category pages from my previous website layout. Testing the URLs in GSC, Google tells me my articles are all live and can be indexed. But they're not getting indexed.

I am concerned that such a radical shift in the main topics of my website has caused Google to completely disregard any authority with no hope of ever ranking.

I guess my question is should I continue posting on this website? Or call it a dead project and start again elsewhere?

Thanks for any advice.

Advice on focus for new site please

Hi

Have found this forum super useful so far and would appreciate some advice.

I am launching a brand new site. Not bothered about monetising it in the near term - just growing the audience and delivering a good experience.

I have a pretty full-on job and my time on the blog is therefore limited to weekends. However, I will be hiring a grad to work on it full-time.

What i've done so far:

  • Bespoke website which is super fast, great on mobile, nice UX etc.
  • A "course" of 17 high quality articles (10-20 custom images per post, around 3,000 words each, easy to read, expert content written by myself in a niche area where I have a lot of professional experience)
  • eBook and lots of e-mail capture options on the site
  • Reserved social media properties (but done nothing)

Now, there are three things I could focus on next:

  • Scheduled posting on social media (no followers yet)
  • Focus on writing lots of content for low-competition keywords
  • Backlinks outreach (guest blogging, HARO, skyscraper)

With only one full-time person it seems like I will have to ask them to focus and not do everything. Would love to hear your thoughts on the time breakdown on each.

I was thinking 90% content , 10% social media and forget backlinks for now. However, I guess i may need to build a few early on just so Google gives my content a first chance so that users actually get to see it? Or will low-competition keyword articles do the trick?

Changing content, page templates and urls for all of our product pages at once.

Due to internal content management issues, SEO issues and not really being optimised to drive conversions we are updating all of our product pages with new content on new page templates and moving the URLs from a subdomain to a sub folder.

Taking all this into account, if we redirect all the old URLs to the new pages, can we expect them to pass on much link equity?

Or does it sound like too much will have changed and they will essentially be treated as new pages?

3 different rank tracking apps tell me that my site is ranked in the top 10 for a specific phrase. I can't actually see that this is the case and anytime I've ever done a search, it's never shown up. Anyone ever experienced this?

Never seen this before and it's not true for any other term I'm ranking for.

I've checked the image results, the YouTube results, everything, and my site doesn't actually show up where these apps say it does. I've checked and it's actually ranked around 55-60.

It's been this way for weeks. I've tried very close variations of the phrase and it doesn't pop up.

So strange that these same apps are accurate with all of the other terms and their placement, but this one has always been off and inaccurate.

Using ProRankTracker, Ahrefs, SEO Power Suite.

Business owner budget question

Hey everyone. I own a small business in Atlanta that was thriving before COVID. It’s been a hard few months, but I’m making it. I really want to step up my SEO, backlinks...and basically whatever else will help me gain exposure for google search. I currently come up in the top for “Sandy Spring Organizer” but I really want to be there for “Atlanta Organizer”. Currently there are two big competitors, many of the other people who come up are barely do it part time/don’t actually do it anymore. The top company has 450 back links, and it says I have 45 which seems sooo bad. But I only learned about backlinks last week. I run the company, have made the website, handle all marketing, basically all aspects fall on me. I love my job buy the marketing is so important and not at all my niche. I’ve tried reading and listening to podcast but it seems like I would need to dedicate all my time to this to even make a dent. Anyways, wondering what a budget may look like to get some help with this? And where to find someone reputable. I have used the free seo help in exchange for experience subreddit and they say “you have pretty good seo” already...but I honestly highly doubt that. I’m ready to pay for help if I can afford it!

Rate my link building campaign

I have been running a link building campaign since December. After reading the topic about whether brokenlink building is worthwhile, I started to wonder about my campaign. Its a little bit hard for me to benchmark how the campaign is going without knowing how my peers are doing.

I have been targeting websites linking to competitors using ahrefs and began the campaign focusing on lower DA websites <30DA. Now that I am doing a significant update to my website, I am going to be targeting higher DA sites. We did manage to get a 70+ DA government link which accidentally got into my prospecting list which I am happy about!

We are checking for broken links and sending a broken link email if one exists or else asking them to also link to us.

I have someone working 30 hours a week. In 6 months we have sent 3200 emails, 308 links.

How would you rate these numbers?

Client has 440 "Generated" Pages from Previous SEO Company. Black Hat SEO.

When I first looked at the new site data, I saw they were ranking for around 540 keywords with 10 pages that had less than 1000 words combined. Backlinks were 3.5k and pretty much all low DA with many sites with broken content and 90% irrelevant to the site. Looks like the SEO company purchased all the links which somehow aren't showing as Toxic in Semrush.

I logged into the site expecting to find a bunch of pages that weren't linked internally or blog posts, but I found nothing except the 10 pages mentioned previously. After crawling the site, I found that they had not 10 pages, but 450 pages in total. No sitemap anywhere, but the pages are all indexed by Google and are contributing to the 540 keywords that they are ranking for. A ton of .html pages all just sitting somewhere on the site.

I went to one of the links and it justs goes to the main homepage, where all the text has been replaced with images of the text, and if you scroll all the way to bottom, you'll see an H1 Title, that when you click on it, reveals paragraphs of text underneath.

I looked further into the backend of the site and found a folder with PHP scripts and index files. They literally have a script that generates pages with reworded content. They made a script that creates the pages with the keywords they specify, and it duplicates the homepage that has only images and adds the paragraphs of text with the keywords, business name, and location swapped out. The text is then hidden at the bottom of the page and only visible if you happen to click on the plain Title which gives no indication that it's clickable.

I copied a part of the content in the paragraphs they generated that didn't have any swapped words and searched it in Google. I found all of their clients with the same thing done to their sites with the same exact words.

Google has an article about "Hidden Text and Links" which talks about how hiding text and links for the purpose of manipulating SEO is against the guidelines and could result in a penalty.

What is the risk of Google penalizing the site at this time or in the near future?

In order to retain all of the rankings they have now, set up the site properly to scale, and eliminate the risk of penalty, the best course of action now is to turn all these pages legit through blog posts. I will write a script that will take all the permalinks, titles, and text content and make a CSV file that I'll use to import as new pages. I will set up the site on a new WordPress install, properly configured, and using the same permalinks for everything. I also plan to update the design, use a different visual builder, and replace the plugins the old SEO company was using with better ones.

Is this the right way to go about this? I sincerely appreciate any advice on how I can do this properly without losing their keyword rankings.

Are all Google SEO BS? Well...

I follow all kind of advices and implemented whatever it is necessary when comes to SEO. Each page with different title and description, H1,H2 etc. Website is secured HTTPS. Blogs written, update regularly everything such as plugins, themes add articles.

Then there is that website ( competitor ) who almost never fluctuate according to Semrush. I have there my website and observe 2 competitors but first of all one of them.

Their website is very nice but no articles just they add one sentence as a calendar, not secured website with HTTPS, they use the same H1 keyword for all their pages They use the same title on all pages as well, lack of other H1 or H2 and so on and they never go below Nr.2 on search. While my website organic search shows 3 or often 5-6 go certain keywords the competitor’s website is always 1 or 2 for the same keywords.

It brings me to the conclusion that whatever Google does and all those panic news about must have https, write, write and write good content etc is big BS. There must be something else behind it. Can you reveal your secrets please?

Buying Backlinks

Are there any genuine reliable and honest backlinks makers or is it all garbage that will go away pretty quickly? Like I'm willing to buy a higher price for people that are willing to actually do proper research of directories and websites that can get good backlinks because I don't want my money to just be wasted once the algorithm changes. I host the site on Netlify, I've always believed Netlify had permanent uptime, but at 1am last night Google smartphone crawled it and found a "crawl anomaly" which is described as 5xx and 4xx error and the page was removed from Google. It was ranked 3rd on the main keywords I optimised it for.

I've requested a reindex, but will this significantly hurt my SEO efforts? And is Netlify a bad hosting service?

Local or Organization schema markup

Hey guys I’m kinda confused with what schema should I use for my business website, my business is in the home security niche, something like ADT, and I don’t really know if I should use Local or Organization Schema since I only have one physical location in one city but we provide service in any city of my country, will the local schema hurt my ranking for other cities? or it’s gonna help on my city without affecting my ranking for the rest of the cities?

Can Google Blocks Sites From Displaying Based On Who Is Database

I have a client who's website does not rank most likely because he did some bad things in the past. We rebuilt the website on a new domain, new content everything and that site doesn't rank at all either.

We built a 1 page website then with a different domain that wasn't registered to him and that website is ranking for the search terms the other two are trying to rank for.

Could Google be blocking these websites on purpose as they know that this client owns them? I have check Google Search Console and there are no manual penalties so we are at a bit of a loss here.

Should I Use Google's Website Builder?

I'm setting up my online presence for my small business and noticed that when setting up GMB they offer you to use their website builder. Would doing so give me any advantage over using a site I code myself or using another website builder?

Also do you guys have any other for a local business. I don't have much competition (only 2 other sites in my city) but would obviously like to optimize everything. I'm going make sure I get good reviews, post frequently and have a connected Youtube channel.

GA on AMP pages in Squarespace

Has anyone successfully managed to track AMP pages built on Squarespace in Google analytics? I'm having a LOT of trouble with this so would really appreciate some guidance!

As you probably know, AMP strips the js out so GA doesn't track anything at all. We can see in search console that the AMP pages get traffic but nothing in GA.

TIA

New Day Same Frustrating Results

New project problem: The first thing we do with a new client is update all their on-site technical issue. Clean up duplicates, remove 404, etc. We try to get their health score as high as possible.
This tends to give some benefit in ranking. Their site will moderately improved in tracked keywords.
Problem is with in a week or two their ranking falls worse then their baseline. Anybody see something like this? Any advice on this one? Any thoughts on what you tell clients.

Where to place content? Guest Blog (for backlinks), or my page, for content?

As title,

I have been writing a handful of articles for my site. I have been writing these towards a few high DR sites that are relevant to mine (mental health-related), and it occurred to me that I didn't know where I might get the most bang for my buck.

Is my site best served by hosting the content myself, or is the backlink I might get from the guest-blog better?

Alternatively, should I take a blended approach and re-write the article and do both?

Impact of Adding Google AMP (But Not for All Content)

Hello,

I run a medium-sized news outlet (10-15 million unique visitors). So far, we have resisted the Google AMP plunge. However, massive amounts of our content won't rank on Google or get on Google Discover. We are now moving forward with it but only on the content that Google does not rank highly or get on Google Discover. Is this a mistake? Anyone ever try just giving Google AMP some of your website and not all of it?

Same keyword for two different landing pages? Will Google downgrade my page for that?

So I am currently trying to optimize my page and now i've run in to a problem.

My domain name and my product/service share the same name - therefore my frontpage keyword is focusing on this word. Then on my "services" page which is basically all about the same "habit breaking" (in danish) it would make sense to describe more detailed how i help organizastions with habit breaking.

This leads me to use the same focus key word for two different pages on the same domain. Now is that a SEO problem? Would it be better to use other words or is it okay?

Pardon my english.

H1 in title of my blog

If you are familiar with wordpress which is obvious so as we should use only 1 H1 TAG on a page & not more than that in any case. So if I am putting the Title of my blog in posts(not html head on Yoast but blog title) so is that H1 itself?

Now in body of main content should I be using from H2 or I am still left with 1 H1 tag?

Note- I am not talking about html head here i.e Yoast title in first para

Kindly clear the fact
