This an issue that everyone here knows about and I don't understand why Google doesn't address it. What I'm talking about is the situation when big brands rank very high even if they don't have content at all. For a lot of keywords one would find a Facebook page, or Pinterest, or Twitter and so on. And it is very strange sometimes because a Facebook page (like one for home and one for about the page) or Pinterest (like different language based subdomains) can rank not only once but twice and take the best of the first 10 positions. In case of Pinterest it's even against Google's duplicate content rules. And Google says they care about the user experience, but they give them here crappy search results. So what can we do about this? Should we address this in the Google forums? Make big industry blogs write about this? Because as I said they give to the users bad results and take from us very valuable positions.
