As we know buying link is a link scheme as per webmaster guidelines.
But if the site on which I am securing the link has good traffic and the webmaster has mentioned link attribute as rel"sponsored".
Then there will be no pagerank/linkjuice transfer, as sponsored is a part of nofollow attribute.
So in this case, will Google penalize it as link is secured via paying or will take it as advertisement sort of purpose and just leave as it is.?
If Google doesn't penalizes in this case, then can I purchase as many link as I want that can serve as a Brandng sort of purpose but not for Google rankings, right?
