I've got so many issues with google right now I just don't know where to begin.
First of all my site offers crossword answers to popular publications... these are updated daily - sometimes several times a day.
Clearly its crucial that new clues are indexed ASAP otherwise the content is worthless if not indexed at least on the same day as people are doing the crossword puzzles which relate to the new solutions!
I have followed every guide and researched it through the google forums. I have several sitemaps, I ping the sitemaps if they are updated... but yet it takes several days for my new pages to get indexed... totally pointless. I even ping the new pages across to google using PUBSUBHUBBUB... makes no difference.
And yet my competitors are all able to achieve indexing within minutes.
At least bing has an API that I can submit new pages to, Google has nothing (that I am aware of).
The site is over 5 years old and is more optimised than most of my competitors.. I just don't understand what I am doing wrong, am I missing something?
