My site has been rising up and up (from a low base) over the past 6 months as I spent time improving the content, getting the meta tags/descs good, making use of H tags, building some links, etc. All good, traffic up around 500% since the start of the year. I have (maybe now had) quite a few snippets in a relatively uncompetitive area, generally solid traffic.
I haven't made any changes to the site for a couple of months, I'm getting it rebuilt to make faster, so implemented a change freeze.
All of a sudden, since late last night, traffic from Google is way down, probably about 75% drop. It's too early for anything to appear in GSC, but in GA I can see what is (not) happening. No warnings in GSC, no changes on the site, no mad link building, no bank holidays across APAC and Europe...I'm stumped as to what could be happening.
Any ideas anyone?
