Remove AMP Version of website

I have a WordPress website with AMP plugin implemented.

I'm thinking of getting rid of AMP version of my website.

Has anyone removed AMP version of their website? What approach did you take? Did you do 301 redirect of AMP pages? Any specific pointers I need to be careful of?

Would love to hear your thoughts on this.
