I just did a crawl on my site with SEMRush, and it said I'm missing an XML sitemap. It looked for a URL like the following one, which I'm guessing is the one WordPress 5.5 core now uses:
• [myURL]/wp-sitemap.xml
However, Yoast generates a sitemap like this...
• [myURL]/sitemap_index.xml
... and if I go to the first URL, it forwards to the second one and loads up fine.
For some reason disabling XML in Yoast Settings (General > Features tab > XML toggle switch) doesn't disable the second URL, so I'm not sure how to get this sorted out.
I submitted the 2nd to Google Search Console a while ago and it says that URL is fine - should I just ignore the SEMRush results?
