Those using Optimole - any affect on SEO?

Hi guys,

I recently decided to start using Optimole for a site to test its lazy loading features, as well as image optimisation.

I know it's not the most ideal situation to optimise images but I digress.

The reason I'm concerned is that Optimole converts the original image URL to their own, giving you a hideous and strange URL if you open up the image separately.

You can turn off this feature, but it also disables lazy loading and essentially the whole plugin.

This is obviously not ideal for SEO, but just how bad is it? We're not trying to rank for images, just more so lower the page loading time.

Has anyone used this plugin before? Most of the images I had pre-optimised before using this plugin, but I'm squeezing as much optimisation I can. If anyone has a good replacement for a lazy loading plugin, lemme know.

Cheers.
