What other considerations should be taken before launching redesigned website?

Hello. hoping to get some feedback, recommendations here.

We are about to push a redesigned version of a website live that is doing very well organically, and has been for the last few years. Steady incline in traffic, keywords. growth, etc.

The current site is very old, and the theme dev has completely fallen off the face of the earth, causing things in the backend to break after every Wordpress & plugin update. It's a complete mess.

What we have done is find a suitable eCommerce theme (Porto) to give the site more of a modern look with added functionality and above all we aren't living in fear that the site might crash at any second.

Used Migrate Guru to export the old site in its entirety, imported it into the staging site and applied the new theme. Removed the old theme and all unnecessary plugins. Tested, cleaned a few things up and everything works well.

Nothing else was changed, URL Structure remains the same, URL's untouched, Images all there, products all there, ALL Content is the same (Although a handful of pages were needed to be rebuilt using Elementor). Meta Data carried over, H1 Tags remain the same. Home page is the biggest departure from the original, but as far as text goes, we've kept everything the same (At least for now).

I'm terrified that everything is going to go downhill once Google rescrapes. I understand we should expect some amount of drop in rankings/performance after any new redesigned website launch. But what other considerations should we take before pushing this thing live? Thanks.
