I’m a graphic designer and I want to buy a domain for my portfolio so I can show it to clients and potentially close a deal. I’m thinking about those cool names in which the TLD completes the name (think using Norway’s TLD for for Arduino and getting ardui.no or something), but I’m aiming for an international audience. Google says these TLDs will be prioritized when the user is located in the corresponding country, but my question is:
If I go wiyh a country code TLD, will competing sites with generic TLDs outperform mine in search results shown to people outside that particular country?
