One of my clients is asking me to adjust the snippet for the homepage of his company, so that is show the rating stars of his Google My Business rating. It is a company that provides weight loss with medical metabolic therapy.
As far as I know, it is not possible to add rating stars for the search results of a companies home page, because they can only be set for products on specific sub pages. Also then it wouldn't make sense to use the Google My Business rating (even though technical possible), to show up there, right?
Also from what I understand is, there needs to be a possibility for the users to rate the product on the specific sub page, is that right?
Never dealt a lot with these rating stars and am a bit confused, since there's so much information out there, that is somewhat contradicting or partially maybe outdated.
Do you see a way to achieve what my client is asking for?
