Hi - I’m going to start a new law firm and doing seo myself. I’ll actually have two locations to start. Getting a physical office in city A to maximize my chances of making google local and also operating out of big city B with a plan to get more referral work out that way and build toward increasing my domain authority to compete for traffic out there.
My question is should I crest two separate location pages for organic? Most law firm optimize their home page for one keyword eg “law firm name Cleveland.” And they call it a day. Some big firms with good Domain authority have multiple location pages, and they do rank because of high DA and low competition.
In law, you can easily shoot high DA backlinks to your home page through directories. I can’t direct these to my separate location pages.
Sorry for the long wind up. Is it better to try and rank for two separate long tail keywords on my home page - “law from city A” and “law firm city B” or try to create separate location pages and send internal Links their way?
