I have an interview in a role which will involve some SEO and was hoping for some assistance with the following, I have looked at the SEO course by Moz but was after some opinions -
What are the best up to date SEO practices? My understanding is to provide quality content to fulfil user intent, meta tags/descriptions, readable URLs.
What are the best keyword research/monitoring tools? I hear a lot about Ahrefs and Google Search Console.

EDIT: I see Nutch (crawler?) and Ahrefs in the websites robots.txt, assuming I will need to focus on these?
