Please tell me.
Imagine two Backlinks, one from a new site where the page has no rankings at all and the other from a new site with some rankings already. Is the second one more valuable, because of the rankings?
I was wondering if anyone was able to offer me some advice please...
I am changing the domain of my existing site. In preparation, I have added the new domain to Google Search Console and verified the domain. As Google Search Console no longer includes the Change of Address tool though do I need to worry?
I can switch back to the old version of Google Search Console but it doesn't acknowledge my newly added, verified domain. Presumably, because it was added to the new version of Google Search Console.
What would people do in my situation? Have I missed something?
Cheers in advance!
Has anyone actually tested going crazy wtih exact-match anchor text on internal links to see if it has a measurable negative effect? It seems like this is something that Google would not penalize you for. Am I wrong?
I mean, I know they can probably distinguish between navigation and body text links, but you should be able to link however you want on your own site internally without it negatively affecting SEO. At least that's what I think.
I really need to test this but editing all of our internal links takes so freaking long.
Any input from someone who has actual hands-on experience of testing this? And not just regurgitating something Neil Patel said?
The old Google Webmasters was better. Well, at least it worked.
Search Console has "potential" with what they seem to be offering since the move (2 years ago).
However I'm utterly fed up of the incorrect data showing.
I just checked for non-indexed with redirect page which are .... well they are indexed. They show up in search! Multiple countries. But on search console they are listed as not-indexed ....
Then, one has to submit them one by one again, to make the "error" disappear.
Need to resubmit a sitemap ... nope. You have to delete it and then resubmit it.
Almost like someone with no clue is running it.
Just me?
Is there a tool or thing that shows the exact inputs from the sites? I want to know which sites have the most input?
Just wondering, is it better to have more or fewer keywords in your google ads.
If there are fewer, then google has to show your ad for those few keywords. Is that correct?
