What's the best product title structure for drop shipping?

Hello,

A new client of mine has a few hundred products they are able to sell a heck of a lot offline, but no online sales. I'm looking at their product titles and I'd like things to be a bit more uniform.

For example, they have different brands with different product title variations (typically just copy/pasting what was on the brands website):

[BRAND] Product Name

Product Name - [BRAND]

Product Name by [BRAND]

Product Name (no brand mention)

I'm assuming I should just pick one and stick with it, but I'll pose a few questions:

1. does anyone have any knowledge/experience as to why I should do it one way vs. another?
2. Would I benefit from excluding the brand name?
   1. Would this hurt or help me competitively?
