Hi all,
I've got a new client who I'm doing a site audit for with lots of strange quirks (including no xml site map). On Google WMT, a lot of the excluded pages are ones that are old pages that have been deleted - but are still labelled as being 'crawled'.
Mostly let another member of the team deal with audit related stuff but they've since left and I'm not sure what to do with this. Should pages which no longer exist appear on the "excluded" of WMT Coverage? And should they still be being crawled?
I'm assuming an updated site map will fix this problem but want to check first.
