I have created a website using wordpress, and i've installed the Yoast plugin for SEO, i've set up the plugin and linked Google Search Console to it, of course i needed then to upload the website sitemaps to let Google index my preferred pages,
The problem i have encountered is whenever i upload the sitemaps to Google Search Console i get the error "Couldn't Fetch", i made some research on the net, read some articles, and so many people are referring to the issue as a Google system bug and it may take some time to change to "succeed", now i have almost one month and i still get the same error, and the status hasn't changed a bit, and my website hasn't been indexed, therefore all the SEO work using the Yoast plugin has no meaning,
I'm seeking help to overcome this issue and get my website indexed in the search engines.
