Hi I am very new to website building and SEO in general and I have a question about implementing the E-A-T principles as a YMYL website. I've been searching and I can't find a description of really what is needed for my area just a lot of places saying I need to do this.
I am creating a dental information site for patients. Basically it's a place where complex dental issues are broken down to accessible language for the layman with graphics to help patients learn what exactly the dentist is talking about.
I am a dentist and currently licensed and practicing so I count as an expert. How do I show this on the site so that it will get picked up by Google?
Would I do something like state on my about me: I am Dr Tarheel2682, and I am a (insert state) practicing general dentist. I have (insert degrees from universities and dates) and completed a residency at (residency type, institution and date).
I know just stating such is only words and I need proof. Would the best thing to be to link my HealthGrades profile (I have zero ability to change anything in there and it is considered a highly authoritative website for healthcare)? I can also link my Master's thesis, even though it is not dentistry it is still a complex science and could help with authority? Do I need to link to the state dental board or NPI? Both are publicly available info but I'd rather not if I can help it just because I don't like just handing those numbers out in an even easier to find way.
