I just signed up for the Aherfs trail, and I've got to say, it is fantastic!
I am hoping to get some guidance on my preliminary keyword research, so I know what to look for. I am in the video game guides niche.
Let's take this example keyword "Walter Smith grave site" which currently receives 900 searches a month and has a keyword difficulty of 1.
Of the top ten results, only four sites are targeting that specific keyword.
All of these guides are along the lines of "find all 9 graves in x game," and none of them have a sole guide devoted to finding the Walter Smith grave site, but instead, include that in the list of 9. So, if I were to write a guide solely dedicated to finding the Walter Smith grave site (instead of a mega list of all grave sites), would Google see that as a more accurate result, thus giving me a good chance to rank?
Or, would Google see it as a weaker result, because it will likely be shorter and have less 'overall information' than the others?
It is also worth noting that my site is new and currently has 0 DR according to Aherfs, so I have some building to do!
Thanks in advance for any advice!
