I noticed my 1 month old content is still not indexed, so I used the URL Inspection tool and Google immediately indexes the article in top 10? Why is it not happening on it's own?

Last month, I published 100+ new articles on my blog. Google Search Console says they are indexed, but I cannot find them via search. So, I submitted the URLs via the URL Inspection Tool and they are then highly ranked right away.

I'm not having this problem with Bing. What is causing such a long delay with Google's indexing?

My site is 2 years old and has a sitemap. It seems strange that they rank highly when I submit them the URL Inspection Tool, but won't appear at all on their own... even after 1 month.
