Should a landing page be indexed by Google when creating for Google Adwords ?

I'm not a professional. If its indexed wouldn't it contradict my other page that is for this particular service ?
PS. Doing a landing page for Wedding photography, I have a page that is not so inviting to book, but rather SEO optimized.
