Hello guys, 1st a lil background:
I'm kind of a newbie in terms of the SEO and I'm currently helping my family get their website back online after 6 months that they parted with some marketing company that handled the design, SEO and hosting of their website. I have a prototype of the website made on wordpress almost ready to go and I'm figuring out the SEO strategy on a DIY basis.
My question is since the website has a history on google and we are keeping the domain would that help in any sort of way for the whole ranking not to start from 0?
This website will overall keep the important keywords that worked on the past + new ones.
