I have recently started working p/t as digital mktng manager at a small company offering services to relatively older people. My predecessor's best friend worked for Schema and got the company to buy $500/month worth of Schema stuff. I have bare minimum idea about what it's supposed to do but I underthat Schema helps generate rich snippets that Google pushes up top in SERPs. But to begin with the website has lots of out dated content to fix.. i saw on the Console that since implementation, organic impressions have lifted significantly but CTR has tanked miserably. I understand that impressions are awareness etc. however I feel like that there could be a better use of those $500 every month. Any input would be very helpful as I have to take a decision this week to renew/discontinue the contract.
