So I'm a bit frustrated since it's quite obvious that one of our competitors continues to outrank us recently because of paid links.
We work particularly hard on content, white hat linking building efforts and social signals but can't compete if they build 300 links to one poor quality article in 2-3 months, all of which look pretty spammy to me.
I don't have proof that they are paying for them; but it looks evident.
So... should I report them for paid links? Will that boomerang back to me? And is there a service where an SEO expert could advise me, or even help me to do so?
