A significant amount of traffic started coming from a random bot website. How does this affect SEO?

Since roughly five days ago, about 80% of the traffic on our website has been coming from a source called getbottraffic4free[dot]xyz.

None of the website owners set this up and we are unsure why this traffic started coming to our website. We are also somewhat concerned that it may negatively impact our SEO.
