We have a seen a page on our website's search rank tank in the last four months and when troubleshooting with both Screaming Frog and SEMRush, we are seeing this:
~3700 crawlable URL's on our website
Nearly every page on our website has ~700-1500 internal links
The page in question has 8 internal links
This issue has been corroborated by both SEMRush and Screaming Frog. Here is what we've checked to troubleshoot:
-
Checked Robots.txt to ensure nothing was blocking bots from the page
-
Compared what Google's Crawler sees between a working page and between the dysfunctional page and saw no difference.
-
Looked into the canonical URL's and found they are set up correctly.
On the server-side we are limited with what we can look into. We are on a SaaS eCommerce platform and we have a WWW to no WWW redirect and HTTP to HTTPS redirect in place but we have limited control other than that.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what we can look into?
