blog.domain.com for blog section vs domain.com/blog?

Hi,

I run a content writing company. The 'blog' portion of the website is focused on content that educates people on creating a blog, growing their traffic, writing blog titles, seo for blogs, etc... while the remainder of the website (e.g pages, homepage, etc...) is all centered around the actual content writing services we offer. With that being said, would it make sense to turn the blog section into a separate 'sub-domain' (I think it's called) like so - blog.domain.com , since the primary keywords on this blog section will be things like 'blogging' 'grow your blog' 'blog seo', etc..., while the remainder of the site will be focusing on keywords like 'travel content writing services' or cannabis blog writing services', 'hire nutrition writers'. Would appreciate any input.
